Introduction

For many years I've worked with challenged individuals, impeded either medically or mentally, while pursuing personal interests dedicated to communication. I have realised recently that communication, and facilitating communication, is where my passion lies. To this end I've been studying the theories of 'Semantic XHTML' to better enable understanding and parsing of content on the web.

As a passionate designer I seek to facilitate communication and interaction with data, to make that information usable to all, therein lies my devotion to standards-based, accessible design. With this in mind I seek to:

Work, as part of a team, to:
improve the accessibility of data.
facilitate the interaction with data.

I have recently completed a two-year course of study as an Operating Department Practitioner, which has further developed my skills to function as part of a team and, where appropriate, to take the lead of a situation to the best interests of the clients and service-users.

I am fully educated in the principles of data-protection, confidentiality of information and the necessity of personal integrity and honesty with regards to my clients', and employer's, best interests.
